ORLEN Termika S.A. produces heat and electricity using an effective cogeneration method, i.e. during one technological process. Five plants located in the Warsaw agglomeration produce a total of 11% of all heat generated in Poland. These are: Żerań, Siekierki and Pruszków heat and power plants, and Wola and Kawęczyn heat plants, with the Siekierki heat and power plant being the largest facility of this type in the European Union.

ORLEN Termika S.A. plants have sustainable development at heart. New production units, such as gas, biomass and electrode boilers, as well as heat pumps, will gradually replace used coal units so that by 2035 ORLEN Termika S.A. could completely move away from coal production.
